Day 1: November 18, 2024
- 08:30 – 10:00: Arrival of leaders and reception by the President of Brazil and First Lady.
- 10:00 – 13:00: Launch of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty. This Brazilian initiative aims to mobilize the international community to accelerate efforts in combating hunger and poverty by 2030.
- 13:00 – 14:30: Working lunch.
- 14:30 – 18:00: Session 2 – Reform of Global Governance. Discussions on modernizing international institutions like the United Nations, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and World Trade Organization to better reflect contemporary realities and promote fairer governance.
- 18:00 – 20:00: Official reception by President Lula and First Lady for the leaders.
Day 2: November 19, 2024
- 10:30 – 13:00: Session 3 – Sustainable Development and Energy Transitions. Focus on strategies to promote a greener and more sustainable global economy, considering local realities and access to clean energy sources.
- 13:00 – 15:00: Closing session and ceremony for the transfer of G20 presidency from Brazil to South Africa.
- 15:00 – 16:30: Official late lunch.
- Post-lunch: Bilateral meetings between leaders to discuss specific issues and strengthen international cooperation.
